Tim’s music is a mixup of hardrock and singer/songwriter tunes influenced chiefly by handmade guitar acts such as Guns N Roses, Tom Petty, or the Rolling Stones. Tim loves big stages but also feels at home on barstools in all sorts of small-town bars.
Tim has released 5 albums and a couple of singles and eps to date. He has toured Poland, France, Denmark, Switzerland, Italy, China, Australia, and of course, all over Germany. He has also written and produced soundtracks for German television. On stage he currently can be seen leading several band projects, suitable for any kind of venue.
The new album NIE WIEDER WIR (Motor/H’Art) is the first record in his mother tongue German and contains 11 songs from Hardrock to Singer/Songwriter and back, featuring Tims top band with Michael Goldsmith (Bernard Allison), Dominik Schweizer (Nicolas Sturm) and Drummer Jeremy. This band and also the songs have already proved themselfes on stages in China even though they are in German, so it should be easy for Rock people in the whole world to understand them.

TIM BEAM ist ein Hardrocker unter Singer/Songwritern.
„Eine Band wie Queen hat auf einem Album die verschiedensten Stile ausgelebt und doch war es immer Queen. Diese Vielfalt in der Rockmusik geht heute oft verloren, das ist schade“, findet der Freiburger Sänger, Frontmann und Songwriter TIM BEAM – der es während seiner schon einige Jahre andauernden Karriere geschafft hat, seiner Musik seinen Stempel aufzudrücken, ohne dass es krampfhaft nach „etwas Neuem“ klingen muss.
TIM BEAM macht was er will – und alles gleichzeitig! Hardrock auf Englisch und Deutsch mit den lyrischen Texten eines Singer/Songwriters. Eigene Rocksongs, manchmal auch rücksichtslose Coversongs wie seine Brettversion von Hotel California (Eagles) oder einen sechsminütigen Goldenen Reiter (Joachim Witt). Tourneen in Europa, Australien, China und Gigs auf privaten Partys im Schwarzwald. Solokonzerte mit Akustikgitarre und Bandshows mit hochkarätigen Mitstreitern. Akustische und elektrische Alben und manchmal auch beides auf nur einer EP gemischt.
TIM BEAM, der Name wurde im als Spitzname in Schulzeiten verpasst. Die Zeit, als Bands wie Mötley Crüe und Guns N Roses angesagt waren und einen dekadenten Rockstar Lifestyle pflegten und die Jugend im Schwarzwald diesen „Vorbildern“ nacheiferte. Heute würde er sich vielleicht anders nennen aber nun ist es zu spät. Und musikalisch steht Tim nach wie vor zu den Vorbildern aus der Sleaze Rock Szene der End80er. Eine Szene, die den rebellischen Spirit des Rock N Roll damals neu aufleben ließ.
